SPACES Volume 5 by frankie magazine pops in on some creative folks around Australia, New Zealand and Asia. We visit them at home, in their work places and even discover the surprising ways some of them use their backyards. Along the way, they share nifty tips on everything from choosing housemates or building a sustainable shack to decorating for next to nothing. Everyone knew we were coming, so maybe mopped the floor the night before, but what we love most about these places is how real they are. They’re not super- fancy, but a whole lot of time, love and care has gone into putting them together. For that reason, they truly represent the people who live or work there – and we reckon that’s the most important thing of all.
